Vivid Dreams

Can location be the cause of vivid dreams?

I have noted that when I sleep on one side of the bed I will have vivid dreams. These are as clear and as powerful to me as everyday life. If I focus before leaving my dreamscape I can recall the events in some measure once I awaken.

Given this observation; I wonder whether vivid dreams happen relative to body condition or posture? Other possibilities include bed contours or external room conditions. Vivid dreams may be linked to environmental conditions.

Kublai Khan

I dreamed of Warrior kings and princes
Long known to be dead and still
In the afterlife did they practice their arts for hope of promotion

In my dream a general awaited Khan
And a strange sight was this Khan for a Mongol
He was of fair skin and blond hair
His arm hair was brownish and resembled that of a lion
Khan's eye seemed blueish gray

In spite of appearances Khan seemed to be a Mongol
Upon seeing the impatience of his General
The Khan said "this one is for you, keep him with you always"
A gigantic Golden Eagle flew over to the shoulder of the prince

With a glow of renewed pride and hope
The General smiled and said "we await your orders to lead us to victory once again"
And so it began

The early morning thought of the day

Judith Jamison in a recent PBS interview shared her thoughts on success. "Pray, Prepare and Proceed." That's advice worth having in my opinion. We are forced to contemplate the universe, to navigate our world and finally to to personal action.

Blog Upkeep (Tip)

A recent development in Blogger (Google's blogging service @blogger.com) has made managing blogs fairly easy.

The ability to send updates via email has been around for some time. One can update a blogger account by creating a custom email account in blogger under Settings/Email & Mobile/Email Posting Address.

To link a blog to twitter one may use a free service like twItterfeed.com. This service will forward posts to twitter, Facebook and others. One will need to add the blog address as myblog.com/rss.xml.

To maximize effectiveness when dealing with multiple blogs one might consider using an email distribution list.

Happy Posting.

Lost Treasure

A number of professionals, business folk and general media outlets have focused on employee engagement. The idea of engagement is to empower employees so that they become fully involved with their work. The theory is that involved employees will find their work more meaningful and consequently will be happier and more productive.

One bit of advice for business managers and owners might be to leverage the benefits of employee engagement. I wondered this morning how much money and innovation might be accrued by following through on the ideas of employee engagement. I recalled as a younger man being employed by a business owner to simply examine technology and make recommendations on their usage in his business. That was the extent of my job and because of it I developed a intuitive sense about the possibility for employees to change the course of a business.

When setting new years resolutions I would recommend that one include promotion of employee engagement together with serious consideration for implementing active employee suggestions. Don't waste the competitive advantages that exist in your organization. Businesses may have technology and streamlined processes but one must remember that people are your foundation and hold a wealth of lost treasure.

Welcome to Zweble

Contained within this site are what will seem to the reader to be a series of short stories. Such a description would be dead wrong. For the most part these are my travels into the dream scape where some believe that we exist in other realities (our spiritual presence seemingly cannot be argued since we awaken with a vision of the environment).

Many of us have constant, deep and richly filled dreams. The sad thing is that most of these experiences go undocumented. This blog attempts to close the loophole of lost dreams.

In addition to dreams we sometimes explore the fantastic and improbable stark reality of our waking world. Topics appear on this blog that only our imaginations can dream up. If you would like to be able to post your dreams, please send an email to tcarternyc(at)hotmail(dot)com.
