Fear drives most of our behaviors. We tend to overcompensate for our fears, which results in many of our actions being less than useful.

Fear of loss causes one to take from others
Fear of love causes one to express hate
Fear of poverty causes one to enact greed
Fear of success causes one to accept failure
Fear of impotentence causes one to overindulge in sex addictions
Fear of being thought stupid causes one to always want be right, and often leads to arrogance
Fear of sobriety causes one to drink heavily
Fear of happiness causes one to choose sorrow
Fear of the easy path causes one to choose the hard path

We should not be afraid of living. When choosing how we live we must always remember to let our actions be driven by something other than our basic instinct to fear the unknown. This lesson came to me in a dream in which I realized once again that God is within us all, in the form of loving compassion. Fear is the reason why.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. Tonight it was the above titled concept. I've decided to track down these ideas insofar as I may at times have no clue of their origin.

In this case, I've had to figure out interstitial, hyper-connected drives. In such cases I am a fan of wikipedia. I think I look to at wikipedia more as a representation of collective human knowledge than accuracy.

I use cross referencing to then build confidence in my understanding. One hopes that all definitions do not necessarily lead back Wikipedia (ala, "All roads lead to Rome") otherwise we end up with circular references in which nothing means anything (or everything means all things). A quick scan of the Internet shows the following:

Interstitial: referring to the space between cells, atoms or molecules, or soil particles. Interstitial cells are those cells that exist in the connective tissues between other tissues and structures. of or relating to interstices, in web parlance - A webpage, usually carrying advertising, displayed before a content page; An interstitial discontinuity in a crystal; of, relating to, or situated in an interstice

Hyper-connectivity: Hyperconnectivity is a term invented by Canadian social scientists Anabel Quan-Haase and Barry Wellman, arising from their studies of person-to-person and person-to-machine communication in networked organizations and networked societies.[1] The term refers to the use of multiple means of communication, such as email, instant messaging, telephone, face-to-face contact and Web 2.0 information services.[2]

Being curious, I've checked and noted for the record, Hyperdrive is a name given to certain methods of traveling faster-than-light (FTL) in science fiction. Related concepts are jump drive and warp drive.

For completeness I've followed through on the final term.
Drive: the act of applying force to propel something;

To be fair, I am always amazed at the insights that come from a restful mind. Tracking down nascent thoughts is more a specialty rather than a science. Depending on one's predilection, research results will vary.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. Words have meaning. As I stalked the dreamscape I discovered new meaning for this plane of existence. Applying the lessons are the next challenge.

In a field on a day, in a place unknown, with chaotic disarray I found myself penniless. To one did I turn, who bespoke another, all three of us journeyed in search of cover. The chaos ran round and as I surveyed the town, torn asunder, athwart with silent chaos.

I spoke with my savior, or at least one who had the power to save me from this plight. She asked me for a guarantee and I held out the only thing I had. My word.

And then, I, awake from my dream, considered the importance of that thing given. The power of one's word and the ability to influence change. And thus, I learned another valuable lesson from stalking the dreamscape, which I happily share with you.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. One can update a blogger account by creating a custom email account in blogger under Settings/Email & Mobile/Email Posting Address.

To link a blog to twitter one may use a free service like twItterfeed.com. This service will forward posts to twitter, Facebook and others. One will need to add the blog address as myblog.com/rss.xml.

To maximize effectiveness when dealing with multiple blogs one might consider using an email distribution list.

Happy Posting.

The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. The idea of engagement is to empower employees so that they become fully involved with their work. The theory is that involved employees will find their work more meaningful and consequently will be happier and more productive.

One bit of advice for business managers and owners might be to leverage the benefits of employee engagement. I wondered this morning how much money and innovation might be accrued by following through on the ideas of employee engagement. I recalled as a younger man being employed by a business owner to simply examine technology and make recommendations on their usage in his business. That was the extent of my job and because of it I developed a intuitive sense about the possibility for employees to change the course of a business.

When setting new years resolutions I would recommend that one include promotion of employee engagement together with serious consideration for implementing active employee suggestions. Don't waste the competitive advantages that exist in your organization. Businesses may have technology and streamlined processes but one must remember that people are your foundation and hold a wealth of lost treasure.

The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. I am a user of the Google Blogspot web service (based at blogger.com). I recently opened my Dashboard to begin a new posting and noted that each site has an email icon next to a mobile phone icon.

It appears that one can now create a secret email address that will allow one to send an email which results in a blog posting. Tada! End of problems regarding how to find time to stay current with blogging. An interesting note is that one can probably send one email to multiple recipients (blog sites) and see multiple posts. Double Tada!!

Well light bulb just went off in my head. Everyone has time for an email. Everyone does. Since many folks no longer write letters this new technology allows folks to get a grip on their many blogs (sometimes simultaneously). Well this first post of the new blogging error is within the context of how to use the new technology.

HOW TO SET UP EMAIL BLOGGING

Login to blogger and view your dashboard

For each blog site click the email icon and add a secret word to create a unique email address

On your phone / email program – create a new contact (I use @blog-name for my contacts so they are easy to find)

For each contact set up the secret email address you created in step 2

Create a message and send it to the contacts you have configured

The dashboard area should appear like this...

Feedbacks, comments, critiques are all welcome.

Be well and happy blogging.
Tom C. 阿明
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. The box has a handle, its squarish and has pink and white stripes. Through the door the man can see three younger men. They do not enter the store.

One of the young men outside the door mumbles something "...go in there and... I will hook you up later...." A few seconds later in come two much younger kids, they run up to the man with the ice cream. "Please...please...please..." the smaller kids grab onto the pants leg of the man. He desparately realizes the trap and tries to free himself.

He is held fast and thinks "time to make a break for it." These kids aren't even listening so with a mighty lunge he throws one kid off his leg and makes a dash for the door. As he heads out, the trap closes and the three young men at the door move in, all that he can see is them reaching into their pockets.

The man wonders why he isn't armed in such a dangerous world. He tries to dodge past the incoming sounds of bullets. I awaken with the feelings of being shot in the left arm and torso. I feel as though a part of me has died. I recognize that although a dream my mind has made manifest that somewhere this has happened and I ponder the veracity of the theory on the multiverse.

Perhaps what we see is not all that exists in this Universe of ours. For sight is limited to the near horizon but what lies beyond is still a mystery. The undiscovered country if you will. Are dreams simply dreams or are these simply the doorways to other realms. One might ask from what energy are dreams composed and how are they communicated?

The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. He stayed inside his incredibly strong keep for years. No force could hold him really and the sense of wanting everything he saw was a weakness which made him shallow and vain. The problem was that although his cavern was covered in specially bound metal he could break free at any time.

He was a loud bushy mustached barrel chested amiable beast of a man. He adorned himself with long stemmed horned helmets and special designed armor from another time. He was immortal and he was bored.

When unleased upon the world he wasa whirlwind. A terrible storm which could not be bound. Most often he was allowed to blow himself out. The loneliness of complete destruction was the only thing which held him back from a complete wipeout of the population.

Somehow I became a guest of the monster. He pondered ceaselessly about the need to head outside and run destructively about. His goal? -to try new things; like many of us the monster wanted whatever he could not have.

It was for this reason that locked in his cavern he must remain. I understood this, he understood this and his other visitor did not. She was all mist and low on substance.

By dumbfounded circumstance I found myself in the company of a guffable monster whose mere prescence would cause walls to tremble. Once in motion the monster could not be stopped -buildings would crumble, ordance repelled and invincibly strong.

In talking to the beast it became clear to me that his envy was great but as long as his interest was kept at bay he would remain inside. Devoid of this barrier the beast would burst forth causing havoc and great destruction. He was both the immovable object and the irresistable force.

The monsterous, Viking-like immortal would crave whatever was seen or any enticing thing that he heard. I therefore admonished the other guest not to provoke his interest. Like mist she could not be contained.

I really tried to hold back the beast, lest he be loosed upon the world. The knowledge of his great strength was obvious -the walls would tremble upon his spoken word. In his waypath was a pool of poisonous waters. Along the path -was a safe haven.

The monster could take many tongues and oneheard his speech in one's own langauge. He would try to provoke one to feed his hunger for vibrant concepts. The girl of mist could not be stopped. My hand fell onto the poisonous waters and the monster held the only cure.

A short shower later and the monster was loosed. Unable to contain himself he was content for the moment to retain his new guest. Not through force but skillful manipulatiion of ideas beyond her comprehension.

So did the girl of the mist, fade away. The monster stayed home. I returned to tell this tale.

The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. My wife and I had traveled to Africa in this dream. We had gone through an African marriage ceremony.

My wife was sorting some herbs, I noticed people going about their business. The priest was walking by as well. Although he was not dressed in his official robes.

I noticed that my wife was separating a short dark green bed of leaves. For some reason I thought isn't that tat (a local carcinogen)? She explained it is the only medicinal herb around here.

A picture of a snake made itself present. Not a real looking snake but a fake looking one. It's eyes were very large, emerald colored and elongated. The thought that came to mind is when you see these the best thing to do is jump and get out of the way. Jump and get out of their way.

They don't normally attack but just give them their distance and get out of their way.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. I was a natural talent at this in my dream. I worked with an important team of smart technicians. It was quite by accident and after many failures that the team discovered that I had a hidden talent - I instinctively knew when and how to manipulate the engine in order to achieve maximum velocity.

The team worked from a console and I noticed that the current driver did not know when it was necessary to throttle back power as the course on the main board changed direction, speed and intensity. I am not sure when I realized that this was a system , an engine , to drive software rather than a vehicle. It must have been the day of the big test when the main driver and her supporting team were looking around trying to understand why the system was not working properly.

I recalled images of the success of the team being brought into question in the press. The thought of this engine being given up as an idea that would not work. I flashed back to the team having this issue. I walked in and performed a repair under the console. Then I took notice of the main board where the team puzzled over the problem.

It was I who noted that at a certain section of the course the intensity of the main engine needed to be reduced so that maximum power was maintained while the internal processes reorganized multiple threads. Following that I noticed that the race course of the engine changed direction by 90 degrees. I mentioned that power needed to be trimmed by two, three then four percent in order to navigate such a turn at the current speed. Otherwise accelerated particle thrust would result in dispersal of electrons and interruption of power flow.

At this point I became aware that I was dreaming (actually I suspected it earlier). I made a conscious decision to continue dreaming so that I could record this information into my longer term/short term memory. It is natural of course without dedicated focus to lose one's dreams after waking. I pushed the urge to wake aside and reviewed the contents of the dream before leaving the dream scape.

Which is how I discovered the Software Accelerator. Now recorded on the day of the dream by Tommie N. Carter, Jr.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. On the periphery of my memory I seem to grasp that a third dream is there but currently this eludes me . Instead of losing all memory of the dreams, I find that I can still hear the Sutra in my head, I have retained much of the essence of the dream-space.

Scene 1:
The Asians are in a beige car behind mine and as we reach the destination and they get out of their car we all start to feel and hear automatic gun fire. I look over my right shoulder and following the sounds of the bullets I train my eye upon the topmost floor of a building where I can see gun fire flashes coming from a window near the corner of the building. I order our men to take cover as I hug the wall and try to gauge the distance between the incoming fire and the impact of the bullets.

We apparently were here to investigate this building diagonally across the street from where the gunfire is approaching. I interpret the gunfire as a way to distract us from our target. And as a warning to those we have come for -surely they are leaving out the back door after hearing this gunfire. I prepare to return fire when the Sutra interrupts this dream.

Scene 2:
Unusual activity from a friend including some pictures of girls sitting within an inner tube with a ball in the middle is the component that I recall strongest. I also recall that the friend had previously made contact with me regarding a relationship problem. The Sutra brings me out of my reverie and forces my attention once again upon the being.

Scene 3:
In a waking dream this time. I am listening to a very musical version of a Sutra. The strains of the musical chimes and other instruments which I cannot identify seem to make the experience reach one's higher self.

When the chanting begins I do not understand the words but their intent seems clear. The words are both soothing and inviting one to reach beyond the limits of oneself. After listening to this music for some time I saw a waking vision of a monk sitting in a lotus or kneeling position.

The amazing thing was that I could not see the monk's face -it was enclosed in shadow. I was able to see that the monk had on deep red robes covering an inner robe of gold (I could see the gold cloth coming from beneath the red robe around the shoulder area. The amazing thing is that this monk is now with me -whenever I hear this Sutra/music in my head I can visualize this apparition/being as distinctly as I can view other objects in the physical world.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. It was a mighty leap, unusually so and I wondered why. I hurried to see what I could make of this situation and as I drew closer I realized that there were two fish in the air. The leap of the goldfish must have been tremendous I thought.

For some reason what came to mind was the Salmon swimming up-river to the place where they had spawned. With that thought the scene became clearer as I approached. I realized that the goldfish had jumped out of a body of water and that further away -some distance in fact was another body of water (I couldn't say if it was the ocean or a river).

What I saw when I came within close range was that a goldfish had indeed been captured in the jaws of a huge brown fish. Or the brown fish may have been captured by a huge goldfish. Please excuse the confusion on this point -I was busy being amazed at the mighty leap which was at this point simulating flight.

It appeared that these two fish (one in the mouth of the other) were flying through the air. They flew around close to the height of head (or a little higher). It seemed rather strange to me and so I ducked for cover -I didn't want to interrupt this event.

The flying fish seemed headed to the other body of water at first. Next the fish doing the amazing leap that simulated flight performed a semi-turn and seemed to be headed back to the first body of water (not sure if it would be called a lake, a stream or a pond).

As I was now ducked down close to the ground I became aware of the startling colors in this environment. Blue sky, green grass, goldfish, brown fish and a dark body of water. I was at this point confronted with the fact that these fish were not going to make it to the body of water. I realized this as the fish flew around my head and appeared to aim directly for me.

The dream came to a sudden end as the two fish headed straight towards my face. I dropped my head low to the ground to avoid collision and the two fish came to rest on the ground inches from my face. Breathing heavily the fish lay before me and I awoke thinking now I have two fish -what am I going to do with them?
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. Our sun as a pinpoint of light creates this illusion. I dreamt of a newly formed medium-orange sun being formed between human hands. In my dream-scape I recognized that the lights in our sky might as well represent all those humans who ever were (so great are they in their numbers).

My dream conceived this impossible idea, could humanity be the key to those dots in the sky? Are we capable of shaping the stars out of our own essence? I awoke with an incomprehensible understanding of the unknown mysteries of our universe. No matter how unrecognized the beings, dimensions, and substances in our environment we are all connected.

Understanding this link becomes the next question, who knows, perhaps I or someone reading this will dream that impossible dream.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. Continually seeking the inner truth of our existence. This morning I was dreaming about the interdependent properties of the human mind, body and spirit.

I dreamed that these properties are not only interrelated as many supposed is the truth but that they are also associative. In mathematical terms this would mean:

Mind = Body + Spirit
Body = Mind + Spirit
Spirit = Mind + Body

I dreamed that every individual reaction of our mind, body and spirit are reflected in aspects of our being by way of reflection in the other components of our essence. In other words, mental impact reflected in body and spirit. Physical stimuli affect the mind and spirit and Spiritual stimuli directly impact the mind and body.

These facts are not too far off from what most folks recognize already. The realization of my dream was that precise control of one of these three variables should improve the disposition of the other aspects of ones being.

We already recognize that the mind may be impacted by improper use of one's body and spirit. It is clear too that one's mental and emotional (spiritual) state impact bodily health. So true it is then that mental and bodily health directly impact spiritual (emotional) health.

In my dream I realized that the M-B-S organization is interdependent and that these factors can be controlled by applying mental, physical and emotional controls over oneself. Forceful attention to the subcutaneous regions around the facial area appear to allow one to ease the pressure associated with the many tensions associated with mental and emotional reactions. When I experimented with these reactions I found that subconscious mental and spiritual stimuli, or rather the physical reaction to these stimuli could be eased by the close attention to and easing of these facial muscles.

The concept of having one's emotions written on one's face is not new. My idea is that easing these emotions may in fact ease the numerous other bodily tensions associated with the expression of these stimuli. Too late I recognized that the fire in the building was in fact a gas attack. We always thought the next attack would be a dirty nuclear bomb.

The concentration of smoke and gas was a problem we had not considered. Once again all of our work continuity and disaster recovery (DR) plans seemed ridiculous. In this situation having large groups of people moving to a dedicated area in and around the target area was a recipe for death.

Too late (?) I realized that everyone's DR plans would get lots of people killed. I recalled the puzzled expression on the soldiers face when confronted with the methods used in the attack. He could only say "you're living in the middle of a war zone..."

People were fleeing now, running full tilt in an effort to get away. Some however were waiting near the buildings in designated congregation areas. In this case a deadly mistake. I saw my wife and yelled at her to come along.

The ingestion of chemicals in that fateful yell is what did me in. I ran for it anyways. I could see her running in my direction as I fell. Someone was hovering over me as I found myself drifting into a peaceful sleep.

The next thing I knew was that I had awaken from that world into this world. I thought I must be in Iraq. Then I realized that no, I was in New York. In the middle of a war zone.

Next I realized that I would need to revise all of my DR plans. The only network that could possibly survive the traffic from an attack would be the world wide web. I had better make our DR site a virtual one so that people could follow the rule "get to safety, then communicate your status".

I also now understand that we need to build virtual offices so that people can work together from any location. We are in a war zone and its time we took it seriously. Thank goodness I woke up in time.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. When I suspend awareness of the subjective present/future then I can clearly see images of people, events and numbers. From where these images come I do not know. The reality perceived in this manner is as real to me as the moments spent existing in the "real world".

It seems that dreams are made of the stuff flowing between the conscious and the unconscious. When one is neither sleeping nor fully focused on the awareness of this reality then the dimensions expose themselves. As to why these conditions permit such visions - who is to say? Notwithstanding the question of why perhaps we ought to try to apply what is to our understanding of the human condition.

I have always thought that we are but watchers tape recorders of the events, in staggering detail, which occur in our lifetimes.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. My then brother-in-law was making mischief. He was selling a bottle of liquor. Unknown to him this turned out to be a bad decision.

The undercover agent smiled as she turned and squawked into a radio. My brother-in-law came back into the apartment saying I think we are going to be hit. I awoke in my bed realizing that I needed to get my id so these guys wouldn't think that I was part of this stupid event.

The officers entered the room. My brother-in-law presented with this opportunity said nothing. I indicated that I had no knowledge of any such transactions and in fact that I had just woke up. I then pulled out my American Express and other credit cards to show that I was a card carrying "good guy".

It seems that the incident of having to let one of us go was upsetting to the female officer. She gleefully stated, "You know what happens to a bike left unwatched...? They are never seen again when left on the street for long." An image of the bike in question came to mind. It was more a hybrid motor/bicycle than anything with an extremely thick tubular frame.

I remembered that the brother-in-law who was by now being put into the back of a squad car held the only key. Fortunately the brother-in-law realized leaving me out of jail was a good way to make bail and save the bike.

I raced next door after the departing officers cleared the doorway to see if my brother-in-law had a spare key. I was thinking that the female officer was right when she had added "...I don't think that flimsy lock is going to stop anyone from getting that bike".

No key! -- I thought that even if the crooks didn't take the bike the city would love to give multiple alternate side of the street tickets. The cost of this screw up was growing. My erstwhile brother-in-law was starting to be a pain in the extremities.

My sister arrived next door and we began to look for the spare key so that we could save the bike. Funny until I finished this story I hadn't thought once about bailing out brother-in-law. I felt pressed upon by the entire affair.

I wakened once again and thought this sucks... now I am dreaming about the nonsense.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. I also noticed an armadillo. There appeared a diamond headed creature that walked on all fours which looked like a being between an alligator and a Komodo dragon (definitely reptilian and when I reviewed this picture I would say a fairly accurate representation). The picture is just missing the darker diamond speckled skin and a rounder, humanized, intelligent head.

The interesting thing is that I noticed at least one person in this dream who I know is not among the living. The other person was an old friend who I haven't heard from in a long while. Another point of interest was that all of these creatures did not behave as if they were mindless animals.

I was at one point riding my motorcycle and at another attempting to carry a large item through the backyard to search for the boa constrictor which was purported to be in the backyard and then on the roof. I indicated "what kind of house is this?". That was when I first saw the boa come through the walls and realized - "I'm going to need a bigger stick".

In fact the whole scene was as real as my everyday existence. I could not understand how these creature could move through our dimension. Nonetheless, here they were - I realized that I was about to panic. I looked up again and could swear that I saw the tail of the boa once again slipping between walls.

That was it. I had to get up and walk around. The idea of super intelligent beings had me thinking of the word "animalistic". I recognized this term from a movie called "Mortal Kombat" (link). Before long I found myself wanting to record these facts; sitting before this keyboard and thinking where have I just been?

Analysis? I think not - sometimes dreams just have to stand on their own (in my humble opinion). Notwithstanding that I can't look at other creatures in a similar way without wondering what do they think of us - Masters of their universe?

I have found that this thought gives one pause.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. What happens when we do not dream? Is our spirit held in the void between stars? The question seems pertinent to our investigation of the dream-scape.

Is it the case that we ever really do not dream? Or is it merely that we cannot recollect our dream? This pattern would continuously be repeated.

A woman with the strength of a man was hovering over my back. She had my arm twisted in what looked like a very painful position and with her knuckle at an odd angle she was striking out this beat on the upper rib cage below my left arm. The face of this woman was extremely sallow and she had rings under her arms.

It hit me that the strikes were way too powerful and in an instinctive motion I tried to free my arm. That's when I found that this slight, sallow-toned, tired looking woman was in fact possessed of extraordinary strength. The pounding sound was in my ears. I felt it must have been the sound of a death knell. I slowed that tempo mentally, as I placed my hand over my heart. Without knowledge of the critical aspects that exist in our universe it becomes improbable that we will understand what or how we dream. In such an environment we can forget about controlling our dreams.

I continue to express the belief that dreams are way-points in our discovery of the universe. My contention is that some portion of our beings traverse the time-space continuum during the sleep process. The human brain seems to have a large capacity for storing volumes of information. I believe that we record everything that occurs to us during our lifetime.

I recently experienced a slew of dreams and my first thought was "cool, how lucky for me - I can get to write more stories". Then somehow the dreams slowed or in some cases became unmemorable. A few times my dreams turned into nightmares (these times were when the dream would be closest to my current reality).

Lately I have found a way to bring my dreams back into a "safe place" (meaning a place where I am comfortable to experience them). I have been learning lots of new topics. In my estimation this keeps the brain active and provides lots of raw material for far flung dreams.

Some things that I would recommend to others who might want to activate their dreams:

Research an article on any unknown topic (www.queenslibrary.org)

Re-learn what you thought you knew about math - especially binomials and polynomials (www.aleks.com)

Learn about the movement of energy (chi) within our bodies

Consider learning a new language - French, Chinese or Spanish

Sit and contemplate the nature of the universe (introspectively)

Sleep

The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. I overheard "...just call in Tommie Carter. He should be able to solve this problem." I noticed that once again I was in the offices of C&P. Intuitively I started thinking about the issue under discussion and wondered why so many people were needed to make a decision.

I heard DN's voice saying "just let him take a look at this issue and it will be all resolved." I decided to head to the office to assess the problem. I felt a bit disgusted by the debate and wished to extricate myself from the situation.

While in the office I look and see a plug that is not put into the machine. I plug it in and things appear to start up normally. I notice the smell of cigarette smoke and see DN on the couch behind me -- blowing clouds of smoke straight up into the air.

I think to myself "how many lifetimes will I run into the same people, over and over?". This thought echoes through my head. I surface into this reality and contemplate the karmic nature of the universe.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. I was not the only witness but the assailants did not seem to care about anyone other than their target. I took this as a sign to get my body out of the door of the room in which this scene was unfolding.

The target needed help so I raced around looking for anyone with a cry of "help! they're killing him!". No one appeared interested in helping. In a busy city all of the residents were wrapped in a cocoon of their own misery.

I noticed a police officer and he too turned me down; as he pointed at a closed store sheepishly. I got the feeling he was moonlighting as security for the store (it appeared to be filled with lots of gold and jewelry). I was running back towards the scene of the attack when the two assailants burst into sight.

The murderers were headed opposite and diagonally away from me. The smaller of the two men said "there is one..." and the pair did a 180 degree course change now headed directly for me. I took off running this time trying to help myself.

I noticed that the roads were semi-icy and thought to myself "well if I can stay ahead of them long enough to draw them towards a police station...". I was headed up a slightly curved street and towards a location where I thought there might be some help. My world view had narrowed to the point where there was just the bad guys and me.

Moving past the crest of the hill and the attackers were close on my heels. I found this amazingly unlikely but this is simply stating the facts. One of the guys grabbed my back and came away with a bag in which I carried my computer. The little one said "yes... he will come back for his computer..." and next "yes! we have the power cable!". I took a deep breath and kept moving thinking "it's password protected and insured" and "these guys are close enough for me to spring my trap".

"Where the hell is that police station?". My world view expanded, I rose up and came back to this world. "I'd better put this down before I forget it...". I have done just that and hope that others may find it either of interest or at least entertaining. We were practicing a series of rehearsals. We began with trying some harmonious sounds like "ahhhh...wooo... ah.ha.ahh"... Next we continued to try to work with our ebb and flow so we began to add movement in order to see what harmonies we would produce.

Giving each other encouragement we started to get looser. We began to extrapolate as we each sought our own voice. After a steady beat of "ahhhh...ahhhh...ah.. ahh.. ah.." one performer began singing "whyyyy....why... why... why...". My wife and I - we were watching a show. The native was performing how to make fire. He was a blue painted person. There were lots of designs over his skin. The performer could move, twist and jiggle his fat belly in a surprising number of ways.

I was annoyed when the audience began their catcalls of "sit-down" and "go do your homework" as I moved in closer to see the critical moment of this creation called Fire. I tried to be less imposing. Strange that I didn't bother to push back -- I thought to myself "why so meek today?".

My wife jumped right up and started to say something as our pizza's were delivered. "If they had to pay for this they would be more polite". Someone asked "who said that?", meaning another retort thrown out from the crowd. In surprise, I heard my wife say "it was that guy, and that guy and that one over there". In shock it dawned on me that the sleeper had awakened.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. The goal of these beings seemed to surround and contaminate the human population. Because the beings were walking my immediate response was -- "Stratocumulus on the march!?"

Several of these beings approached as I awoke and attempted to lay hands on me. I climbed a tree since the black clouds appeared to be subject to gravity. These creatures appeared to me to be a living form of stratocumulus (link). I noted that these groups of beings did not rise as I climbed the tree although they appeared to gather closely together.

The gathering gave the impression of a re-formation of the traditional cloud cover. Since I did not want to be caught in this seemingly harmful environment I jumped down before a quorum of cloud beings could amass. I saw these beings start to surround other people as I came down from my safe haven.

As I ran I tried warning other humans of the approach of these beings. I awoke in a haze with a stark realization. My fellow humans could not see these beings at all. As the saying goes, ignorance is bliss.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. I tend to post what I consider really important stories deep down in my blog. Perhaps I do not want them (or myself) to be found. I cover things with less useful or less crazy stories (to appear normal?). But what is normal anyway.

Another story that I found on the uselessness of listening to the "health" advice of others points out that what is in today is typically out tomorrow. Now I cannot recommend that one read more than the first page of this story (which is the authors' fault for going on too long) but that first page is so enlightening it may just get you (thinking.... shh - I won't tell).

The author points out the hazards of trying to eat healthy as opposed to eating simply. He also advocates making meat a side dish. He might have a point or two more to express and as such I am going to step out of the way at this point. Please feel free to post back on this article. I am interested to see what everyone thinks.

Article (link)

By the way, browsing the other posts on this site may be hazardous for your mental health.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. This morning I awoke several times in multiple universes. On each occasion I faced similar challenges with my life. I was at a point where I needed and believed that I could make a break-through to reach greater heights.

In one of these universes something heinous was going on, people in the lower wards were being destroyed. There, usefulness was the essential value criteria. I awoke in that universe to horrific images of bland faced doctors who chose to inject some concoction into me. I resisted.

"You have already lived longer than anyone else in the lower wards... I wonder why?..." -- Those are the words spoken by the maniacal doctor in that universe. I decided that I had better disconnect from that version of myself in case of discovery.

In thinking about the multi-verse I must say that everything is just slightly off. The color of some curtains, children that I do not know who must be fat but are skinny. The paint does not match, seats look different than they do in this lifetime. People who are no longer, exist and those who should, do not.

In each universe/lifetime I believe that I have reached a pivotal point where I must decide to overcome the major obstacle in my life. It is at this crucial point that I have discovered the existence of my other selves and the realization that there is the strength of One, this must be tapped into, the relationship between each of these selves; these visions; can help one to surmount the obstacle.

In stark reality I awoke, feeling the tingling of the poisons from the mad doctor. I hoped that he had the antidote and wondered if he did not whether it would reach across multi-dimensional time and space. I felt that this missive better be sent.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. Who doesn't think about that some times? An interesting concept that I have proposed is one where everyone can be granted personal happiness. To me this is my idea of a Utopian setting. Imagine if you will the facets of that statement.

Personal happiness assured for each person does not mean that everyone adopts the same or similar codex but rather it simply states we are all happy with our lives as it is.Using the concept of personal happiness means that someone who is happy fighting will find an equally happy opponent content to fight with them. Those seeking peace ought to be equally happy that anyone else seeking peace shall have it.

Happiness with one's life can therefore take many forms. Ones' experience need not prejudice an others experience. In this way personal happiness if it existed could extend to the entire world. Presuming that one is personally happy whatever the condition then that environment appears to allow one to be always content.

I do not think that anyone could wish for more than that, at least not realistically.

Where then is the rub, if the answer is so simple?

The biggest problem with this theory is that conflicting visions of personal happiness exist. Matching up those folks who what the same things in life is currently not possible. This may not always be the case however.

I recall in one television show from the 1970's and 1980's where human society was divided into like-minded sections using the astrological signs of the person to predetermine with whom the person should interact and co-habitat. It has long been presumed that folks born under complimentary stars (which determine their astrological sign) are destined to find contentment together. I think that the news outlets have it all wrong. Stress makes a lot of noise. In many situations the noise that stress makes begins in our gut. One may hear sounds as chemical reactions occur in response to stressful emotions or thoughts. In general the result of stress is a physical/emotional outburst of some kind from the individual under stress.

Hypothesis:

Experiencing Stress can't be helped - suffering from stress can be reduced by exercise, medicine, and most often some form of meditation.

What to do about it:

Recognize that mental and emotional factors cause a great deal of stress. The induced stress appears to also coincide with chemical reactions in the body. Overall it appears to be important to control one's thoughts and emotions during stressful periods. Finding ways to relieve stress is an endless exercise.

Stress relief can come in the form of a variety of activities that induce other physical reactions. We must recognize that we are not reliving stress so much as we are counter-balancing the stress with other more healthy stresses. An example of this would be exercising in a gym. It's painfully obvious that stress is a killer. Unfortunately, with some of us, the slightest things can prove to be an irritant. Like a chain reaction such irritants can set us up with huge amounts of stress.

General Tips:

Recognition of the early stages of stress will help us to control this dangerous disease. Previously I have written about the drama, mental and emotional stresses facing New Yorkers who are in essence pawns in the war on terror. Despite the stresses placed on them many people are finding ways to cope with the changes occurring in our environment.

Next Steps:
Onwards and upwards we must strive to continue to conquer our fear of "just about" everything. One example of this is the fact that I came to Japan following a major earthquake occurrence and the report of a tsunami that was supposed to follow the earthquake. Common sense would dictate "turn-around" but stubbornly I refused to cancel the trip. A lot goes into making such decisions but the basic fact is that humans continue to act in spite of fear.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. I do not find it unusual in the least for me to genuinely fear a certain loss of anonymity. The lack of protection by standing out in front of an audience (such as those in a blog) seems to represent a larger cultural issue as well. How many of us wonder what ever happened to the inventors of the electric car, water powered engines that leverage better efficiencies without the use of gasoline and other such incredible inventions?

Many folks have always believed that such inventors must surely have been killed off by the government, (oil/auto/tire) industry, congress, the mob or all of the above. It might sound like tales from the dark side but when one is trained to believe that whatever is reported is typically the opposite of what is true then it is easy to understand the cynicism of much of America.

It is therefore quite clear to comprehend how we as a society developed this sense of paranoia. I guess to be fair it is only paranoia if the suspicions being pondered are untrue - otherwise this is called insight.

Hypothesis:
Humans develop a series of pathological responses to percieved threats in their environment. For example in New York City I noted the departure of a good many co-workers who could no longer cope with the pressure caused by the Terror attacks. It is interesting to note that not everyone responed the same way to the events of 9/11/2001. Some of us just have great difficulty getting to sleep.

Next Steps:
The way forward may lie in a trip to the past in this instance. US President Franklin D. Roosevelt once declared "There is nothing to fear except fear itself". In fact he was quite right, the stress associated with human' fears may cause us much more damage than the effects of the object of our fear. One argument in support of this point of view can be located in this article.

We need to move beyond the sometimes skewed signals being decoded by a tired or overstressed mind. Acknowledging that sometimes we, as Dr. Ostrow observed in the Forbidden Planet, are "Monsters from the id". (source)
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. Essentially this is expressed as anger, yelling, bad feelings, thoughts and other actions that impact our behavior with strangers, friends, family, co-workers and even ourselves.

Hypothesis:
People in and of themselves attempt to maintain a self-image that is typically an idealized version of their true selves (some refer to this as their soul or moral center). In this idealized state (let's call this normal), humans will exist in harmony with their environment and other humans. However, when acted upon by an external force that causes physical, mental or emotional stress (I term this pressue) -- humans tend to respond with physical, mental or emotional responses. The act of the external pressure on a person can cause internal and external manifestations to appear in response to said pressure.

Examples of the propagation of such stresses are clear in everyday life. A customer calls your boss with a complaint. Under threat of a loss of business the boss complains to your supervisor, the supervisor yells at you -- you get defensive in response to this pressure and yell at the supervisor or in many cases carry the resulting emotional stresses around with you until it is released by someone asking a question or performing a slightly off-kilter activity that may set off the built up pressure. The person receiving this released pressure then absorbs it and passes it on to the next person in the chain of human connectivity (a friend, a neighbor, a stranger, a waitress, etc.)

Next Steps:
It is about time that we realized as humans that inherently we all want to be thought of as good people. The customer who complained in the above example was naturally simply exorcising the built up pressure which had been previously absorbed. Without such pressure we would all no doubt lead happier lives. Given that it is difficult to expect that everyone can understand the nature of this physio-emotional-mental pressure and understanding that the conflicts which result do not emanate from within oneself but are the result of external pressure -- it appears that we need a way to manage this force so that it does less harm in our human societies.

One idea I propose is that we simply acknowledge to ourselves that the other person is under the influence of this external pressure. We ought to recognize that the pressure is not intended for us as a result of who we are but rather that the pressure exists as an external discordant force travelling among humans. When placed in the proper perspective this realization of pressure and its roots will not stop us from framing an initial response of anger, defensiveness and resentment but it will allow us to free ourselves of the prism of transferring this energy to others.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. It seems highly unlikely that we should see time pass in the blink of an eye while the entire waking world experiences those same eight hours of rest as a brutal, seemingly unending work day. It is also interesting that in the interim we (males) grow full beards and long nails. It is almost as if the growth cycle of our bodies is accelerated.

Hypothesis:
Sleep is a bending of the space time dimension. Observations made during the sleep cycle occur in a dimension that we know little about. The mind-body-spirit appears to be performing work that enhances growth and repair of cellular tissues. External observations of sleep cycle participants are flawed because the viewer is not also a participant in the sleep dimension. Extra dimensional observations cannot accurately reflect the environment and therefore fail as a measure of scientific evidence.

Next Steps:
We must consider alternative tools and processes to measure observations of the sleep dimension (actually the time-space-dimension called sleep).
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. Just as a way to be sure that my account will be able to publish to this new site. However, since I am here I may try to use this space for some of my theoretical insights in life and humanity (no they are, I think, not the same).

Why 'Zweble'? Well the curt answer is why not, but that is just the quick-witted New Yorker response in me. Actually zweble is a name I came up with to describe some network equipment (just as an arbitrary moniker for distinguishing devices) and it popped into my head when I was presented with the screen to create my blog. Also, along this line of thought is that previously I used Chinese characters in my other blog and this time I created the current blog in a virtual machine where I do not currently have the input language configured to allow me to input Chinese so I am working with what I have available.

Having given the need for a second blog about a millisecond in terms of reflection I realized that I may actually want to keep this blog active and put together some of my more unusual thoughts. It does occur to me (I am not sure about everyone else but it would be surprising to me if it did not) that blogs may easily meta morph into books. In fact one is already publishing with a blog without the Editors (unless we count the blogs public comment space which may lead one to self edit).

The perceptions that I will store on zweble are thoughts and insights which I have had in the past and hopefully any future ideas regarding the human condition. It seems that once given free reign the mind may take this blog a bit further than I initially anticipated. For instance, imagine writing down the oddest thoughts that one may have about oneself and life in general.

Why create a site like this - one that poses the ultimate questions about humanity?

It seems to be a rare opportunity to take introspection to the extreme.

It appears to be fulfilling my need to vent many of the unspoken feelings that accumulate daily in ones' life.

It helps postulate the theory of everything.

It answers the call for the 'Watcher', the 'Observer' or the 'Reporter' in each of us (or is this just me?)

This site may give voice to every crazy idea and hair brained scheme I can dream up.

This is my second blog ever (here is the first) and it seems that the initial experience has given me the confidence to simply write. Therefore, this is my new beginning.
The web provides a freedom of information that one hopes can stimulate the human condition. Anything that pulls us away from the mind-numbing television cannot be all bad. Can it?
